About the OSC League

Online Sports Championships / OSCesports (OSC) run not-for-profit online sports leagues, that support and showcase the best sporting talent from all over the globe! Our esports leagues are a conglomeration of numerous partnered tournaments, investors and community members who have united to share their time, skills, resources, and data, to create a vast online circuit for players to compete in on a daily basis!

Our main supported title is Starcraft 2 (SC2), in which we run the largest league in the sport, with 500+ events annually! In 2019 also we launched an OSC League for Hearthstone (HS), which is already growing at a rapid rate! We also run an Australian based poker league, and have previously run Starcraft Brood War Remastered and Age of Empires 4 events to celebrate their games launch.

OSC Leagues have given out over $1,100,000+ in prizes and run over 4500 events!

We operate our own twitch.tv channel, OSCeports, where we broadcast events on a regular basis.

Our team has been hired for various other premier esports events, where we offer a variety of services such as consultation, event design, admining, promotion and broadcasting. If you’re looking for experienced esports professionals to partner with or hire, feel free to contact us.

OSC League Format:
Our SC2 + HS leagues follow a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing highly in all partnered tournaments, along with points acquired through various bonuses and challenge matches. These points and player data act to form the OSC World Rankings and seeding system.

At the end of the yearly season, the top players ranked via the OSC World Rankings are invited to play in the revered OSC Finals, where we determine our champion! Every SC2 player who plays in the finals gets paid! We have designed finals format which reward the players who finish highly in the World Rankings, as they have shown a combination of results and regular participation throughout the year, and deserve rewards for their efforts. Thus seeding and competition for position within the rankings is highly important, and ensures ongoing player activity and interest!

Humble Beginnings:
The SC2 League first started on the 16th December 2012, with the partnership of some SEA/ANZ regular cups (Including SC2 legacy event, The Masters Cup), and as such was originally titled SCS (SEA Championship Series). It’s goal was to unite online SEA tournaments together to improve seeding,  regulations, participation and create new opportunities for the players in the target region. A player ranking system (OSC Points) was developed to increase competition and give players something extra to aim for other than cash prizes when participating in partnered tournaments. We later expanded our focus to include the Americas and China, and then continued to develop into a global competition, with regular events for and representation from every region!

Our core value of working together, rewarding players and providing incentives, has seen the OSC League post impressive annual growth every season since its inception, and partnered tournaments share in a loyal and growing player and fanbase! Players of all levels have numerous reasons to play in any sized partnered event, enjoy the experience, and take up the challenge!
